MEET "JUJU"...

Hi and thanks for visiting my website! My name is Jumana a.k.a "Juju"

...originally from New Orleans, "NOLA Gurl", & currently ROCKIN' Zumba Fitness® in San Antonio, TX! [JANUARY 2012 IS MY 4-YEAR "ZUMBAVERSARY"!!!!!!!]

I am active-duty Air Force, celebrating my 15yr anniversary in the USAF this year! I've lived in several states and traveled overseas.

I have been a licensed Zumba Fitness® instructor since Dec 2007, teaching since Jan 2008.

In 2010, I graduated from Troy University with a BS in Sports & Fitness Management. I am currently working on my MS in Fitness Mgmt (c/o 2013). As you can see, my passion is health/wellness, fitness, & nutrition!

I have been involved with fitness in some form or another all my life! I was involved in all sports in high school & college. I participated in sporting and fitness challenges throughout my AF career & locally. Now, I teach fitness classes part-time & enjoy organizing monthly fundraising events/benefits involving health & fitness.

I am highly active in the community & I love helping others achieve better health & wellnes! As an active-duty, working part-time mom, I understand what it's like to 'not have time for fitness'. However, I believe I have found a way to balance it all, and would love to help YOU do the same!

My sister, a prevention professional & instructor in Seattle, first introduced me to Zumba®, Fall 2007. ..."a fitness craze that hit her city!" After researching Zumba® online, I fell in love with the concept! I found a local class and tried it for the first time, (Bishopville, SC - Dona Smith's class, Oct 07). I WAS HOOKED!!

I received my Zumba® Fitness Instructor Certification (Dec 07) at a workshop in Charlotte, NC, taught by ZES Koh Herlong. Soon after, I began teaching weekly Zumba classes in my community in SC, where I was stationed at the time. There - my Zumba® career exploded!

With my Middle-Eastern/Latina background, Zumba's® worldly beats are right up my alley! The music ENCOURAGES you to move & feel happy! What more could you ask for, from a cardio workout that is FUN, and allows you to move every muscle from head to toe!? It's the best total body workout I've ever experienced. ...just ask the others! Best part has to be the music!!!

I HIGHLY recommend Zumba® for any age, at any fitness level! I have ages 15-65+, women & men attending classes. You can adjust the moves to your comfort level, or modify them to intensify your workout! Zumba with Juju is an EXPERIENCE & I hope to see you in class soon!
